WOW its been a while since I posted! Way too long!
I took a long HIATUS and now I'm back!
I've been away on a long (extended) journey of growth and self discovery. During my time here in the Atlanta area I've been through some storms trials and tribulations but it has all been purposeful. This journey has brought me closer to the LORD. My spiritual life is where I've seen the most growth. What has helped me along this journey is finding a solid church home. I found a wonderful church in the Atlanta area named Elizabeth Baptist Church and it has been life changing. And as a bonus I sing on the praise team and I'm no longer scared to death sing in front of people!! (This has been a crippling problem for me. It stopped my from pursuing so many of my dreams) I'm not where I used to be and I'm so happy and grateful for that!Another great accomplishment is that I don't depend heavily on the approval and the validation of others. My identity is no longer determined by my outward appearance and fancy clothes. I'm "me", a child of Almighty GOD, a loving caring person with a good heart . This is at the core of who I am. Everything else comes next.... Certain aspects of my life are still under construction. But by the grace of GOD I'm growing! Join me on this journey of life and hopefully I can inspire you to purse or continue your own personal journey!
