Coronavirus and Fear

So many people around me are scared and on edge because of the coronavirus. I understand that fear because people are dying every day. However, I am a firm believer that God will not put more on us than we can bear. Instead of being afraid, we must turn to our Heavenly Father for strength and protection. We must have faith that HE will see us through. He is The Beginning and the End, The Alpha and Omega and nothing in between should frighten us.

Trade-in worries for FAITH!

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee:be not dismayed; for I am they GOD: I will strengthen thee; yes, I will help thee; yea, i will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
                                                                                                                       Isaiah 41:10 KJV

Unfortunately, we become that "thing" that think of the most. Whether it be good or bad we will inherently attract that "thing" or energy into our lives. Scripture even tells us the following:

"Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by you thoughts"
                                                                                                     Proverbs 4:23 GNT

Worry and fear causes physical, spiritual and emotional harm. Worrying about a situation and being fearful does nothing to change the situation. It is counterproductive and detrimental to our health. According to the University of Minnesota, “Fear weakens our immune system.”

How to boost your immune system and not live in fear of the ...

Instead of worrying let's use our time and energy wisely by finding ways to stay healthy and protect ourselves and our families during this epidemic. We can focus on eating well and nourishing our bodies with food that sustains good health. By eating lots of fruits and vegetables, drinking plenty of water and cutting out fast food and limiting junk food. Now is a great time to adopt a mostly plant-based diet. Adding supplements to your diet like vitamin D, B12, C are some great ways to stay healthy and boost immunity. Getting outdoors and spending time in the sun is essential! Sunlight is nature's best medicine and a natural source of vitamin D. Keeping our bodies fit with exercise is very important. Going outdoors for run or walk is great but if you can't get outdoors there are plenty of fun fitness videos on Youtube for free. Listed below are a few of my favorites:

Trust that the LORD will see us through. Stay safe and be well friends.
